To piggyback on Haven... Yao has firmly established himself as the second-best center in the league, and in their last meeting, he became the first player in the entire league since Hakeem to go toe-to-toe and beat Shaq in the low post. To say that you have been watching this season and not seen the moments when Yao HAS done what you are clamoring for makes me wonder what kind of basketball you prefer. If you like the free-styling, AND1 tour-type of stuff Steve and Cat prefer to play, then I can understand your preference over Yao. If you like to watch fluid, efficient, reliable offensive basketball, then Yao has been one of the few bright spots offensively. He plays the post in the classic way of the big man, before dunks and verticals became more important than skill. His post work is reminiscent of Kevin McHale, and I haven't seen a fade-away like his since Olajuwon in a true center. He does tire easily, should rebound more, and is not yet consistent enough to truly be considered a franchise player. But he is a helluva lot closer to being there than Steve has come in over double the time in the league.
Funny how you didnt bother to get the *real* internet meaning of the word troll.. You have been thru this same schtick over and over and over.. SJC said it best....you are a successful attention w****.. You post what you post KNOWING that it will lead to pages upon pages of crap spewed back at you since most here cant seem to get the idea that if they ignore you...you just might go away.
As a newbie, I appreciate the veterans who have provided clear evidence of the nature of this poster, "Juggie". That way, I won't waste my time in the future by replying to his posts or even reading them. He is what you guys have accused him of.
from LifetoDef: Next Season there will be excuses for Yao. Ok, I'm down for that. I don't make any excuses for him now. This dumb**s argument that he's 7'6" and should conquer the world by standing up is a little outdated. Kareem comparisons? I'll give you one: Yao didn't have anything near UCLA's program physically or mentally, and it's ignorant to imagine Wooden not being all over this guy like you can't believe the first time he set foot on campus. That's an excuse? No that's reality. I wish the other 31 GMs in the league had thugs to just show up at some posters' houses just to tell you: "for what it's worth we think you're stupid". This is just basketball, it's not nuclear physics. And I hear Bill Russell's "heh, heh you guys are pathetic" echo throughout the NBA. News flash: Yao may fail, he might not be a HOFer. He's not a glamour boy and he's so damn tall. If you can grasp that, envision yourself jamming over him successfully - posterizing him -and him not caring. And believe you know anything about this game.
No one has ever answered this question. Why is it when you are critical of Yao you are a troll but when you are critical of Steve you are smart? Could someone please rationally answer that question? If being critical of a Rockets player on a Rockets board makes you a troll then every single person that has ever posted anything negative about Steve is a troll. In fact, Clutch should rename the site Trollfans. I understand that Yao is your favorite player. I understand that you love the guy. But can't you at least be rational? When any other team in the NBA does poorly, the blame falls primarily on the leader. The Magic suck and regardless of whatever other problems they have the bottom line is that T-Mac didn't do what it took to make them a better teeam. If you want YAo to be the leader of the team so much, why do you insist on refusing to blame him for anything? Good God. It's been two years and Yao has never ever been to blame for anything. We took a bordeline playoff team, added him and actually won fewer games and still didn't make the playoffs and people attribute absolutely 0 % blame to him. It's always Steve or JVG or the Refs or the other team cheating. Has Yao ever done anything wrong in your eyes? Ever? After every bad game he has, Steve gets bashed more than he does. I've never seen one player play bad and have another player on the team get blamed for it. Whose fault is it that Yao only had 5 rebounds last night? Is it his? Whose fault is it that he only had 1 block? Is it his? WHose fault is it that as the supposed person that the team is to be built around that he has failed to show up in the last two games while we are in the playoff stretch. Is it his? Even a little bit? In between scouring the internet and posting different troll pictures can someone please answer those questions?
What qualify you as a troll is that you are always critical of Yao but you are always willing to give SF excuses. Criticizing Yao doesnot make one a troll. But over the time you have proved to many of regular visitors here that you are only interested in bashing Yao. It is not one of two persons, or the newcomers (who you name as YOF). We all know your track record. Now someone has answered your question, rationally I may add.
I'm just wondering from what you stated above.... Do you guys consider sup123 a troll? He constantly bashes Steve and worships Yao.
Thanks for at least giving an answer. So, by that reasoning, anyone that is always critical of Steve and always willing to give Yao excuses is a troll? I wouldn't call Jackie Chiles or Yetti or Fegwu or Panda trolls - and neither would anyone else. But their next post giving Steve credit would be their first and they always have excuses for Yao. Just because someone believes something diferent than you doesn't make them a troll.

"A supernatural creature of Scandinavian folklore, variously portrayed as a friendly or mischievous dwarf or as a giant, that lives in caves, in the hills, or under bridges." doesn't seem to fit
Urbandictionary has something that may fit...Urbandictionary is a great help "an individual that frequents message boards and makes up stories or belittles others posting on the board."
Juugie and sup123 are two opposite extremes, but Juugie is just more annoying. IMO, Juugie's bashing Yao is a little bit beyong basketball.
He doesn't stand out as Juggie, because honestly SF deserves criticism most of this season. Although Yao is struglling some nights, he has made quite a bit improvement from last season. Considering the selfish players he is playing with, he did relatively well. But no, we shouldn't worship Yao, not yet. Look at Juggie's record: last year, he was saying "don't draft him" before the draft, then "told you he will be a bust" after the first few games. Early this season he was saying "trade Yao and give SF his game back". Now it is consent that SF sucks big time, he start criticizing Yao as if he were established as the go-to guy. Yeah, SF had 5 years but led this team to nowhere, but it is ok. Rox starts going to Yao more often but that is not ok if Yao doesn't deliver right away! That is the logic of Juggie.
Look HERE Yao boxes out so that opposing centers don't get rebounds, and Cato, JJ and SF can snap the ball away. The result: Rox as a team is one of the top rebounding team in NBA.
yaoming needs time, we need patience.More pressure can't help him a lot in the future in NBA.Learn to enjoy the game first, then learn a lot of knowledges from playing basketball in NBA,at last, fight for an aim to win the championship .step by step! rox is still steve's team,he always shows off,but always makes mistakes.go! go! go !yao ah! yao ah! yao ah!
