    What’s his CB grades?

I know he said he wanted to be primarily a CB.

This is what I could find:

“Gayle explains that Fitzpatrick’s grade as a slot cornerback in 2018 - where he played 379 snaps - ranked him among the elite defensive backs covering in the slot. He was ranked first in completion percentage allows, first in passer rating allowed, and ninth in coverage grade. Going back to his college performance, he was graded as the top slot coverage player ever in the PFF college era (2014-2018).”

Colvin ranked really high as a slot CB as well although obviously playing in between Bouye and Ramsey helped.

I'm going to pass on that, I'd give up a future 3rd, that's it.

We can't mortgage any more of our future. Deal with the guys we have, hope we can get a bargain somewhere, and save that cap space for fixing the secondary. Just accept that we're going to be in shootouts.

Too bad Ramsey isn't a FA next year, I'd bet he'd sign with us. He seems to have a lot of love for a lot of our players, namely Hopkins who he gushes over everytime they ask him about him and Watson one of the few QBs he's given praise to.

Yep, no reason not to ask and offer a 4th, MAYBE a 3rd as part of that trade, maybe they did but they wanted more and we wouldn’t do it but we never heard about it

Considering how young he is a second might be worth it. Ask yourself if he’s the kind of player you’re hoping to get in the second round next year? If so why not take him now and he’s more of a sure thing than a drafted corner.

Well we have other young DB's that he can grow with and influence. Plus, we are at the win now stage so why not a 1st. Then throw in a 4th with it. He is young and impactful like Tunsil. So go get him. I don't trust this organization to draft a player like him in the 1st anyway. Also his talents are being wasted in Miami.

Not saying that it's worth it or not worth it in this case, but this has been said time and time again:

Draft picks are lottery tickets in the NFL, most of the time. If you can get a guy 25 or under, and you've seen them in the league for a couple years, for a draft pick, you then allow yourself to more accurately scout that player and slot that player in the league.

To me, it's not necessarily mortgaging your future when you trade for a young players using draft picks, as long as you don't overpay. It's smart managing. At least you're turning your lottery ticket into a more known quantity.

Minkah is a special player who can excel in multiple schemes and positions. He has elite athleticism and football iq. The dolphins would be stupid to trade him while his stock is low and they have little leverage. They'd be smarter to at least wait until the deadline.

The Texans need to do something about the defense now. Minkah would be a great start. Try very hard to get it done.
