read this article.. and tell me what you guys think.. this reporter is obviouslly very mad and cant take the truth that Jazz will never win the championship..

"No matter how it happened, though, the Mavericks deserve tremendous credit for just refusing to go away — a trait the Jazz once possessed in abundance."
    - no credit for winning the game... credit for just refusing to go away..... humm

Ha! Nelson credits the win to a 1-3-1 zone trap, and the Utah writer gets pissed that it was allowed! Who plays a zone defense better than Utah?!

(Well, ok, ok, the Spurs, but still....)

I read that article. You should go back, and read some of the other articles from after game 2. The same reported was talking about how the MAVS had no chance, and were primed for a sweep.

I didn't think the article was THAT biased. Let's be honest, here, the Jazz had that game WELL in hand...playing at home in one of the loudest arenas (if not THE loudest) in the NBA, leading by 14 entering the fourth.

And he DOES continue to give Dallas credit for the win...of course he's a little bitter, he's a Jazzfan... [IMG]

I bet San Antonio gets much louder than Utah.

That place holds 33,000+ AND it's half empty, so it echos.

What article did you read? The sports writer was complimentary towards the Mavs. The only comment he made that could even be remotely considered negative was his comment about zone defenses, and all he was doing there was responding to the fact that Nelson said they played a zone. There is nothing "sore loser" in that article.

Most Rockets fans should never b**** about another team's fans being "sore losers". Most Rockets fans I see still whine about the Malone bearhug and Barkley's injury the two years we lost to Utah. No credit to Stockton for hitting the shot or Utah making the plays, just excuses and "we would have won" comments...

Yeah, I don't see the big deal either. This is a Utah reporter giving some props to Dallas in a rather acerbic, disappointed tone over the loss. He's not a sore loser; he's writing for Utah fans. What would you want from him? Perky? 'We lost; yippee!'

Awww, poor Jazz! Some of the earlier articles had things like "Old School vs Preschool", and calling the Dallas Mavericks a circus. They earned this loss. Nothing their bitter journalist can say will change that! [IMG]

Hell, I say we can b**** all we want. It sucks to hear other teams whining, and Rocket fan whining doesn't bother me, because I am a Rocket fan. Plus it is fun to take any opportunity to rag on Jazz fans. [IMG]

Dallas won the game, Utah didn't lose it.

The Jazz will never win the championship with Malone and Stockton. They're both too old. THye need to start rebuilding.
