He wants $13-$15 million. He thinks deserves Todd Gurley money. He doesn't. He turned down $10-11 million a year from the Chargers.

I never said to pay him. He was gonna play on the franchise tag and we burned that bridge by trying to trade him for nothing. I clearly said let him walk next summer or wait to trade him at draft to get better value.

Whether Watt can wait is not really up to the Texans. The remaining 2 years on his current deal don't contain any guaranteed money so there's been speculation that he could want things redone after this year. Of course he may not, but DW4 and Tunsil will likely be the 2 HUGE deals which alone would likely preclude any front loaded contracts.

As of right now I think Aaron Wilson tweeted Texans have 35 million currently in cap room

If it cost AB type picks I would go for it. But a first plus more...we can't leverage our entire future.

No. he isn’t a Free Agent. He has another year on the Rookie contract. After that, Chargers can Franchise tag him. Only way u get Gordon is a trade. Not worth it, unless his contract demands are reduced.

This is actually surprising. Players want to come here?

    why?

Players like playing for BoB. Just because people on this board don’t like him, doesn’t mean anything. Clowney didn’t want to leave. Jalen Ramsey would love to play here. Gordon probably wants to play with Watson.

Yes; players want to come here. If some of you would take a break from bashing each and every tiny little thing BO'B does, you'd see why:

There is a stark difference since Deshaun got here. Dude is loved around the league. He makes friends with everybody and more importantly, can play. He doesn't throw teammates under the bus; doesn't even throw opponents under the bus. Fun to be around. Fun to play with.

And every single one of them watched him slap Alabama in the mouth. Twice. That **** matters (to the players).

Having a franchise qb makes it a lot easier recruiting star free agents now. Plenty of cap also

Has nothing to do with BoB. It has all to do with Watson
