    Didn't Francis...

I clearly recall the days when Francis would drive an dunk with authority.

well it seems to be too flashy and selfish to dunk so people will start complaining.

Maybe his knees hurt. I was at the Blazers game the other day, and afterwards, Steve came out with ice around both of his knees, at least it looked like ice, maybe it was some sort of heat wrap.......
Is that normal for him to do that?

Steve still dunks and he will be just fine. I can't believe how many people are giving up on him.

I was dogging him at the beginning of the year but the guy is changing. His game is evolving. He will get there.

He is a better PG now than ever before!

Sure he is just look at his assists, they are higher than ever, and his turnovers are way down.

    Sorry Bigboy....I don't agree.

Francis is a wasted talent on this team...he needs more freedom and more room to manuever....he needs a team and a coach that suits his game.

He doesn't fit on a Yao Ming team.

I agree with you regarding the best situation for Francis. But, the guy has to change his entire game and he is progressing. You have to give him more than half a year. It is not natural for him but it can become natural for him.

The guy has changed. He is starting to be a true pg. The tough part was making him change his game. The rest will come.

What I don't get is if you've been missing easy layups all season long, then shouldn't you attack the basket looking to dunk more?

Francis is thinking too much. Players miss layups when they are not sure what they are going to do with the ball. Before, Steve knew what to do, SCORE. Now, he has to think about passing and shooting. It's tough. It was for me. But, he is getting there. It's going to take time. AGAIN, HE UNDERSTANDS THAT HE HAS TO PASS NOW, HE HAS TO FIGURE OUT THE WHEN PART!

I didn't think so either about 20 games ago but I really see the difference. Francis' game is evolving. I went through the same process. I believe in him again.

I agree. After watching the disappoiting game today i really noticed how SF was playing much diferent than last year. He seems to be passing much more than before. He is running the floor like a true PG. The only complaint a fan cound have is he is shot has been off lately.

If im not mistaken thats called court vision.

If it took him the whole season to realize that a pg has to pass first instead of shoot, but dont expect him to improve his court vision before the end of the season when he is likely to get traded. Hes been in the league 5 years now and his court vision hasnt improved much and you cant learn court vision. As many people stated SF is thinking too much and thats why his fg % is low. That tells you he will never become a true pg. Making passes and making his teamates better does not come natural to steve as his ball handling and scoring ability does. Making him a pure pg is just a waste time and talent. It would be easier to trade him for a more prototype pg who already has the skills to be a pg instead of having a veteren SF develop his pg skills.
