Thank god for religious liberty. The blacks and the whites that are race mixing can just go get married in heathen California and leave the great state of Mississippi to its Christian beliefs.

I almost think that these states enjoy these stories to keep non white, and non straight people out of their state so they can hold solid R voter majorities to stay in power. I hope people ignore it in these states and get married loud and proud elsewhere in Mississippi or Bama.

I hear a lot of Christians complain about being persecuted and having their religion treated unfairly. Well maybe if they stopped doing it to one another they could alleviate that feeling. SMH
They always find a work around. We got the Confederate Flag pretty much banished and then they just moved on to Come And Take It or Dont Tread On Me. At this point I'm cool with them spouting "religious beliefs" as a reason for them being racist. Religion should be the ones that see it as problematic.
I love stuff like this. Went to a Baptist school for 12 years and finding the totally wacked out stories in the Bible was one of my favorite things during "Bible time", didn't care what the rest of the class was reading, I was on the hunt for gore and freakishness. And stuff that just didn't make sense...after a few years as a kid I still couldn't find a dinosaur in the whole book. eta: and honestly, for doubling up on the foreskins, shouldn't he have been given the princess *and* her sister?
Well said. I've said it before here, but it's worth saying again. I doubt if I'm the only fellow around here that remembers "Whites Only" signs on bathroom doors and the entrances to the pools at the parks in Houston as a kid. We really don't need constant reminders that some bigoted, ignorant racist fools still crawl around this country, and not just in Mississippi. Our "president" is a reminder every damn day.
How is this rage bait? This is something real that happened, and the lady said the exact phrase "because of our Christian race" so Carl literally did nothing that can be called bait either.
