He treated that like a routine fly ball. We know he can't judge balls in the air, but does he not know how to watch the fielder? Dude moved about 10 steps and stopped with his back to the infield.

    I know!

I was totally just looking at the fielder as well... and was completely confused as to why TK wasn't going ape-**** over what was happening.

Guess that's why he was expendable from TB... lol. He's otherwise excellent.

Today is Verlander's two-year anniversary becoming an Astro.

Becomes 6th pitcher in history with 3+ No-hitters

If I have a son, I will tell him “boy, don’t be a man, please be like JV.” He has class, fame, money, a beautiful wife and etc.

To think that JV is one bad pitch/good take from a perfect game.

Obviously Kalas has a better vantage point, but on tv it looked like a bloop. Off the bat I thought that was going to drop in in front of the outfielder. Then they zoomed out and I realized Drury was turned around and wasn't pursuing it. Then Kalas kind of woke up.

Even SN Toronto and their Hazel Mae wanted a piece of Verlander.

Favorite part of the celebration... after the initial mosh pit, Verlander breaks free and yells "WHERE'S ****ING TORO?!?!??!"

Nah, he got good contact off the bat, and I expected it to do something... but then you combine TK's non-reaction, and the ball had been dying out there all series, and my brain was simply not processing any of it.

Kalas does have the better vantage point... but there are people I know who consistently can call a well hit ball off the bat after decades of watching it on TV.

That was sweet! Have the Astros ever had two no-hitters in a season? I started watching the box score around the 7th inning and saw he hadn't allowed a hit. I didn't tune in until the 9th but I was nervous so I couldn't really watch but came back to rewind and watch. I finally got up enough nerve to see him throw the final pitch for the last out. Toro really came through. Almost had too much on that last throw. I was worried about it sailing over the first baseman.
