I love how some of you think ownership shouldn't be happy. Bill O'Brien just put 10-12 million bucks into Cal's pocket.
Seriously even Cal somewhere wearing linen Madras pants in his yacht hanging with a blond had to spill out his mojito when he was informed of the trade.
Houston Astros: Take It Back Houston Rockets : Run It Back Houston Texans : F***ing Embarrassing I like it.
Bob is a ****ing mutt and so is cal. This franchise hardly ever does anything right and when they do it’s negated by the mounds of mistakes they make along the way.
Yep, just coming here to say this. Seahawk fans think he was going to get cut lol. The only thing we got of value was a 3rd round pick. Now, that's nothing to sneeze at, if it was included along with an actual good player or 2 2nds...
Just look at this crap. An actual scrub. We would have done better just holding on to Clowney and see if he blinks and reports to the team after missing a few checks. This was the worst possible scenario to give him up for basically nothing.
Reeks of beginnings of a rebuild by management or at least a change in direction of team concept, perhaps an acceptance that they weren't going to get value for Clowney, therefore perhaps a decision to free up cap space now to invest in the future, aka Watson. Perhaps a shift away from a strong defensive team concept as Watt ages more in the direction of an offensive team concept with new coach and GM hired together at the same time. If this season suffers slightly, so be it from management's point of view. You save some money and performing below expectations increases draft stock and supports the narrative of change
