[Premium Post] Agreed - good points Mr. Scarface. Le'Veon Bell, and my of his contemporaries in the NFL, think that what he did by holding out was smart. It was in fact not smart, but rather incredibly stupid. Now you have copycats like Zeke, Melvin Gordon, and Jadeveon. These guys don't realize it, but they are making huge mistakes. They may forego paychecks and they are definitely tainting their image which will impact future deals. If a 26-year old employee of mine told me he wasn't coming to work because he wasn't paid enough, I'd tell him to never come back. Clowney has missed a lot of games due to injury, yet something tells me that he still cashed those paychecks during those times. Yet when the shoe is on the other foot, he stays home like a bish! Get out there and earn your money, joven! He needs to remember that if he weren't playing football, his next best alternative is probably pretty awful. Just saying. GOOD DAY
The Texans look like a laughingstock. A team with no GM and a coach with all his "good teammate" moron'speak that just can't shut up about Clowney which hems in the Texans even more with every bit of information he lets slip from his mouth. Just shut up O'Brien. Handle your **** in private you dumbass. Does Cal McNair know enough to be pissed with how this was handled? Cal need to tell Bill to shut up and use the ole no comment for everything and anything to do with Clowney. I mean Jesus Christ already.
I guess the Chargers and Cowboys are laughingstocks? Or the Steelers with Bell and Brown? Antonio Brown was traded for a 3rd and 5th round pick! Arguably a top 5 WR in the league. You like to hate on the Texans.... Like some of you hate on the Rockets....I guess Tillman is cheap ( Signing Gordon to a big extension)? Going broke? Recession prep?
The only franchise struggling to handle this contract holdout w/o a gm. We used to have one but we fired him 1 year into a 5 year contract for a person we cant even sign for. Currently we are a franchise who decide to give all GM power to hc who is petty as fk and expects him to handle the clowney issue. Pretty laughable, but hey keep deflecting to other franchise issues and past transgressions.
Germain Ifedi is provable target. Seahawks declined fifth year to save money. Numbers were actually better than Lane Johnson and Duane Brown through three years.
Wow, didn't realize that. His twitter picture is himself in an astros shirt. Would we also get a draft pick in this trade?
Ifedi sucks. It'd take Ifedi, Penny, and a first at least. I don't think Ifedi is better than Scharping. And he's definitely not a left tackle. So, you have to ask, why trade for him? Unless the package provides you much more value besides Ifedi.
