I think it's a great step. For at least the next three years, our guard team will remain top of the league and we'll always be fighting for the championship.
Not a good move long term, this will not age well. Upping is salary will make him a better trading piece, hopefully in the near future.
Damn Idk what's up with some of y'all negative posters. If Tillman doesn't extend, he's cheap. When he does extend, ya think it's a bad move. Look at the Harden, Russ and Capela contracts. We basically have no cap space anyways, not much more we can do but sign our own players. You're not gonna get an Eric Gordon-level player for the MLE. Also if Eric walks for nothing then you lose his theoretical salary to use in trades for a superstar caliber player. So this signing is a no brainer imo. With the cherry on top being that the 4th year is nonguaranteed. Good work Morey and Fertitta.

Still not particularly good, 3/45 was the max I would have wanted him at. Lou Will is making 8 mill a year right now, for example. I think for Gordon, at 30+ with his injury history, with his giant shooting slumps, just isn’t worth 18 mill guaranteed for 3 years.
