In a FREE God Fearing world, the government must not pick winners and losers!

Redistributing wealth in this day and age makes the dead dudes on plastered on our money sick to their slave owning bones.

No, 'Dems' just hate the hypocrisy.

I don't think Democrats in general are against helping farmers.

It would be good to see who gets the pork on the ethanol con. All the giant factory farms owned by the hedge funds need somewhere to dump their spare corn. Overweight Americans are getting hip to not eating high fructose corn syrup, the cheapest calories on earth, in all their foods.

Might as well make it look like the Trumpistas give a hsit about small farmers. It is reminiscent of the movement by the billionaires to eliminate the inheritance tax for the billionaires. They used the handful of actual family owned farms that actually paid a bit of the tax to save the Kochs, the Waltons and the like billions in taxes.

No, no they are not all hypocrites.

"They are all hypocrites. They are all terrible people."

Again, you have to stop projecting the qualities of your favorite politician onto others. Some politicians are pretty damn consistent with their views.

    Ethanol subsidies are ****ing stupid.

I have no problem subsidizing food production, considering we have had no famines in the US since we started that policy. However, let’s subsidize healthy food, not food used to make fuel or food that makes us fat.

Yet another example of how ridiculously poorly thought out this trade war is. As someone who is one of the few people who believe that free trade is a net good for humanity I won't pass up the chance to say "I told you so." The UK is finding out the same thing as many of their farmers and dairy producers are struggling with potential disaster if no deal Brexit goes through.
