Which is why he has no shot with them.

Not bad although I think we still need another piece. Our bench is pretty thin after Austin, House, and Chandler.

It will all depend upon whether Westbrook learns to shoot and be more efficient.

Agree, and I think he will improve in those areas. I think he now wants to...and MDA's system fits him pretty well. Despite many people's perception, he seems like an intelligent mature guy. I think he's at that stage where what he wants to do is win...probably him more than anyone else on the team. So, I expect him to accept coaching on those issues. It's better for the team, and it's better for him...and I think he'll get that.

Now, when I say 'accept coaching', do I expect a complete change in how he plays? No. But I do expect to see improvement. I do NOT expect to see a Rajon Rando middle finger to coaching.

Also, 'coaching' might just be he and Harden talking about what they should do...and then going out and doing it. As many have said, AllStars can figure out how to play together, if they want to. I think they want to.

If Westbrook pushes the ball and passes it out to the shooters, as you have pointed out, he will conserve stamina and his three point shooting will go up. He should realize that defense will translate into offense too.

Your points about CP3 are spot on.

Nice to read your posts my friend Apache.

He needs to do all that and play defense too.

saleem, proof there are still good people in this world.

I’m sure the offense will be better than last season and when the play breaks down, Harden is the Ace up the sleeve
to fall back on by way of Iso. Westbrook can serve this roll as well, especially when Harden sits.

I believe the so called experts (Vegas and others) are realizing it as well. Most had the Rockets crumbling or in
great disarray.....now many are selecting Houston to be a top team.

I appreciate that this Jazz fan is being pro Rockets, but he really bobbled his entire argument. He spends the first 3 or 4 minutes talking about how the fit of Westbrook and Harden is likely to be a better fit than CP3 and Harden and then he spends like the last 2 speculating on whether Westbrook and Harden will gel. He starts his video talking about how he disagrees with the media narrative, and then he reinforces the very same narrative he sought out to dispel. He completely contradicts the entire thesis of his video. If this was actually journalism, it would be bad journalism and lazy.

It's funny that a Jazz fan is the one to bring us some positivity to CFs

he said rockets will finish between 1 and 4 in the west.. there is a remote possibility it won't work so he borught it up.. but even it didnt work worst case scenarios is rockets are still 4th in the west
