Our relief pitchers need to get it together. Reminder to not get ahead of ourselves and take these teams for granted. Seriously what a terrible 0-2 pitch vintage giles.
Correa had a bad stretch for about 4 weeks late April, early May last year that Correa took a lot of called strike 3's. Ever since then Correa has been deemed bad at taking fastballs for strikes despite Correa being better than average at swinging on fastballs in the zone before and after that 4 week period. What is your explanation for the myth that Correa takes too many fastballs in the zone? Is confirmation bias that strong that a ~4-week stretch outweighs several years of Correa swinging a lot at fastballs in the zone?
****ing sucks that we're probably going to be 3 back of the Yankees in the AL race all while we played two of the worst teams in baseball. So frustrating. **** rain delays. **** injuries. **** the White Sox. And just for the hell of it, **** AJ Pierzynski.
Between this and leaving Yordan off the Most Exciting Rookies list, whoever is running the MLB Twitter account is a real rat b*stard. Now that I think about it, it's probably a Rangers fan.
Man, the Astros are going down like B's right now. How many of those fastballs in the zone are early in the count? Dig deeper Joe Joe.
No one in Houston should ever eat Papa John's pizza ever again. Put them out of business in Houston. Why is MLB tagging them? Blame MLB. MLB and Papa John's conspiracy against Houston? Well...F THEM!
