We're talking shaving cream and a straight razor. I'm on the NW side (Cypress). But feel free to list any parts of the city incase someone else can use the info.

    Thanks

Good question. I've looked for barbershops that do this but no luck. Many, many years ago there was a shop at I-10 and Kirkwood called Wolf's that would do it.

There's a men's beard grooming place in The Woodlands Mall. They do those types of shaves.

Someone gave me a gift card for it but I wasn't interested. Sold it on here to @LCAhmed IIRC

Any place with a barber pole outside.

The Boardroom. They have a few locations around town.

Cutthroat Barber does it. The one near Yale street might be closest to you.

Not sure if I'm comfortable getting a straight razor shave at a place called Cutthroat Barber.

    (somebody had to say it)

I don't have a recommendation other than suggesting just using a safety razor; it gets real tricky in the taint area and a cut there can be really painful.

You must be talking about Art of Shaving.

Lots of barbers will do shaves. The Boardroom Salon for Men and Tune-Up, the Manly Salon are both large chains with multiple locations. But lots of traditional barber shops will too.

I'd be too nervous having someone else shave me. I have a beard now but shave with single-edge and double-edge razors and like the process.

He's probably talking about 18|8 in Hughes Landing. My office is right there and I've been a few times. It's not a bad place but nothing to get overly excited about.

I'd be interested in finding a place that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for it. I know the art of shaving costs around $50.
