I think Vince Carter is older than all but one Big3 player...

Vince Carter was drafted the same year as Cuttino Mobley.

Cat didn't crack. His hair just happens to look like he took a trip to Mt. Sinai.

I'm guessing VC wants a farewell tour and the Hawks can offer guaranteed playing time for that.

Dwight and Melo should have taken the VC path.

They all could’ve potentially been in Atlanta right now. Oof.

Crazy thing was VC came into the league at age 22. Imagine if he went to the league straight out of HS like every other cat back in the day. He would be close to 30 years in the league

Might not have endured as well if that were the case... I have no hard data to back this up, but I THINK the wear and tear in those early years, late teens especially are harder miles. Maybe not feels as though then, but in the long run. Unless you're some kind of machine animal like lebron, won't surprise me if HE doesn't start falling off a cliff.

Vince has what neither of those players have and that's a 3 point shot. Almost half of the shots he put up this decade are from behind the 3 point line and he does a fairly good job of it too. That's how James Jones, Mike Miller, Jared Dudley, Jason Terry, etc stayed in the league for so long past their expiration date.

You can do both, Vince is good enough to get minutes on a contender in my opinion. Raptors return would’ve been nice.
