That's actually a Google program called Ad Sense. They place ads on your site based on the words found on that particular page. The whole system is automated. Since that page was heavily geared towards steroids and muscle building in sports, those ads came up. I don't think the Chron has any control over which ads come up. Maybe they should pay a little closer attention and try to filter them a little better cause that's funny.
