    Yes..everyone reported to the action!

Cato was going straight at Yao..and Boozer guided Z away from Yao. :) Steve held Yao back...
    pretty dumb.

But I don't think Yao will ever fight. It's okay..because we have Cato and Mo and Weatherspoon and Jimmy and Steve and Mobley. :) And we also have Adrian Griffin, Mike Wilks, Bostjan Nachbar, Eric Piatkowski, Scott Padgett, and Jeff Van Gundy. I'm sure they would back Yao up!!! Yao should not fight though...it would be funny...but then bad image. He can't fight anyways!

I'm surprised JVG didn't hump Z's leg, especially on the night they showed the Zo clip. Somehow I don't think Z can shake his leg around with JVG on him the way Zo can. JVG sure is getting soft. ;)

That's the most interesting point for me. Not just opponents but also team mates. They sometimes hesitate to pass to Yao, or dribble away from him too quickly. I think deep in their conciousness, they always think Yao is not ready yet.

That incident didn't call for a confrontation. Yao inadvertently popped Z in the face when his arm swung back from being off balance-due to Z's foul.
Z pushed Yao, and I'm sure Yao knew why he was pushed. Yao put his hands up as if to indicate that it wasn't intentional.
Yao didn't back away, but handled it the way it should have been handled.
Neither player was overly aggressive at provoking the other, it was just a little altercation that happens when you compete in the sport.
I'd rather see Yao's game speak for him, and not try to transform him into a punk bully. He has enough to think about.

It looks like Zydrunas starting playing the thug role when Yao started dropping shots on him in the 2nd half. Zydrunas had the 1st half under control, but Yao started hitting shots. I remember when PJ Brown pile drived Charlie Ward in a Knicks-Heat playoff game. It got Ewing and Larry Johnson suspended. If Zydrunas and Yao get ejected, Yao does not make that jumper in the 4th quarter and the dunk. Rockets may lose.

It was from Yang's another article, although he didn't mention how and when Yao told him so. I guess what yao said and whether he said something at that time is not important now. However, it seems to me Yao won't forget it easily judging by the fact that usually yao wouldn't say something nonsense in his BBS.

He didn't prepare for such confrontation or he might have been fooling himself that it would never occur to him. Now he knows he just cannot avoid such conflict. -- BTW, those are my plain guess.

Yao is a smart guy and a quick learner. I wouldn't worry how he would react to such situation in the future just like that I wouldn't worry sometime his bad performance because a good one will eventually come.

"U wanna fight?"-- That`s not Yao`s words, but Yang`s imagination. Yao is a gentleman, and has not learned how to deal with these conflicts on court. However, sometimes it`s Yao`s biggest lack and that why he`s not a completely real NBA player.
