    There was a lot of heat on West to win right away. Make no mistake though, running organizations in LA and GS makes it FAR easier.

    Without being in LA.... he doesn’t get Shaq in free agency, he can’t trade for Kobe .... he can’t sign KD or Leonard and no way George forced a deal.

    West is rightly considered the second best GM ever behind Auerbach. However it is a hell of a lot harder and more impressive to see what the Spurs have done in that size market.

    Jerry West = Most overrated talent evaluater.

    He won In glamour markets and no one has had sustained success outside of them.

    I think his legacy looks better and better the longer Dolan and Buss spawn continue running things in NY and LA.

    I just hope he plays with same energy as Faried. The knock on Bennett has always been his effort and conditioning.

    From my perspective, he hasn't earned any respect. He has talent but lacks heart and determination. We'll see if he has what it takes to earn my respect.

    Anthony Bennet is 26 years old. If he can space the floor and give any kind of useful energy on defense he would be filling a huge need for this current roster.
