Well, today was a good day.

I have a beautiful girlfriend. Waking up to her every morning makes my day right there. Well, her friend works at a Toyota Dealership in town. His wife works at a Mercedes one. The wife wants my girlfriend to come sell cars for them. Much better than her current job. The Toyota friend is going to sell her a fully loaded Camry for $21k. Unfortunately, she's upside/down on her Civic to the tune of $5k. In steps a wholesaler from Albuquerque who was a good friend of her late best friend. He's gonna give her what she owes on the Civic. So, we get a new car, her old car gets paid off, and I get to make a road trip to Albuquerque!!! Batman Jones, let's catch a game.

Not to mention, I'm hopefully gonna get some side work making car deliveries for this dealership! Easy money.

Then, I got tix to the game tonight for $15.

All I need now is for the Lakers to beat the Supersonics. Today was a good day.

This is the weekend, the BIG weekend coming up. I coach two basketball teams, and this weekend is the season ending tournament. My 12U boys are 8-0 and the #1 seed in the tourny, and my 10U girls are 6-2 and the #3 seed. Throw in my older son's games and the games I have to scout, and I'll coaching as many as 7 games and watching 4 more between Friday and Saturday.

    Wish us luck!

    today? .....

    Nothing...
It's a dark, cold, and rainy day. Kind of depressing.

I should get some work done, but.....procrastinating is my life. Atleast the Rox are playing tonight, that gives me something to look forward to, I hate middle of the weeks.

    Today?

Went to a dog and pony show by Oppenheimer Mutual funds.

Morning 8:30 am arrive at the hotel. Blueberry muffins look good.

    Sit down listen to speaker:

    Speaker: blah blah blah blah.

    Break: Crustified fruit. Why not?

Next Speaker: blah blah blah blah.

Lunch: Risoto looks good. Veggie wraps, focachia..... how many carbs in focachia? Why is Roast beef always with rye bread?

Final Speaker: blah blah blah blah.

Leave. Get back to the office. Note to myself: Never say blah blah blah blah when blah blah blah will suffice.

    Client meeting:

    Me: So.... blah blah blah.

    Clients: Sounds great.

    Me: Thank you.

first off, good the rox won although steve's confidence is what makes the difference in them facing the kings, spurs, or minnesota in the first round. hopefully the latter.

spent entirely too much time on the computer today meaning to do something productful, but ended up going spending the majority of the time between here, fark, and another site. i've become lazy the past few months. past ordeals. always reminded of new order's "it's no problem of mine, but it's a problem i find... living a life i can't leave behind." had it good, but all good things come to an end i guess.

mentioned earlier in another thread that my little bro and i went to see "the passion of christ" at first colony at 4:00. i ended up walking out and pulling him behind me a hour into the movie. we ended up going back to the 6:15 showing. i'm not the slightest bit a gibson fan, but i did see the point in making the movie as graphic as it was.

before i go to bed tonight i'm planning on writing a "the last three and a half years of my life" email to an old friend of mine. getting caught up i suppose. getting ready to make a pot of coffee now.

Those dog and pony shows are soooo boring... I hate spending all day at those things.

Yesterday was decent. Went to the game with a mixed group of Spurs and Rockets fans (I live out in the sticks on the far side of S.A.). What's up with the road construction around the arena, though... or just the general traffic flow. We missed the first quarter just because of that traffic. Also, people were driving like it was every man for himself. They are crazy. Other than that, though, it was a good time. Good to get out a little. It was midnight by the time we got back out here.

Today was a little more mundane... got my ashes... squeezed in a three-hour nap. Should actually be able to get a fair amount of sleep tonight too. Wonder if my 9:25 students will see me awake for once tomorrow. Otherwise trying to remain outwardly busy, but thinking too much regardless, and getting irritated at myself for minor mistakes. Wondering how everybody else manages to get through life without screwing up a lot more than they do. I think too much anyway.
