    So my full post ..... I’m die hard Houston sports but also an OU fan.

    So I’m at a bar in OKC watching the Astros and Rangers game with OKC Thunder Fans... 20 minutes ago I said that OKC would never trade with us again after we stole Harden from y’all. 20 minutes later I’m a Russell Westbrook fan who is now a Houston Rocket.

    Wow just wow. I’m more shocked reading a TV screen now than I was when we got James Harden that October Saturday night. OU was playing Notre Dame. I’ll never forget either trade now and where I was and what I was wearing.

    OMG JUST WOW!!!!!!

    Last time I was this hesitant getting a HOF player it was James Harden.. Soooo. Russ maybe amazing with the Rockets.

    Idk maybe bc this is a totally different team? Look I’m not betting any significant amount of money on us winning it all w this team but we got better today. I don’t think people realize how horrendous CP3’s contract was about to become.

    I am LMAO at all those Westbrook haters now! Their tune will change now that he is a Rocket. All I know is I am excited about this season now. I wasn't expecting this. This is going to be fun to watch!!! I am so glad I was never a Westbrook hater.

    I’m shooting from the hip. Im pretty upset about this deal. I know CP3 is early in his contract, so that makes a buyout unlikely. I’d rather he get traded to Miami. Anywhere but LA Klutchers

    uhh... it was a promise they made to him in order get him to take the paycut to come to the rockets in the first year..
    If a team fails to keep promises like that then no players would ever want to play for the rockets.

    pick swap isnt losing a pick and considering okc might still be developing in 3 years chances that the swap will occur are not great...

    I think the biggest buyout happened so far is Deron Williams with Brooklyn, if i remember well he was on a two year deal at the time the buyout happened...but like aeliott said there's no way they buyout Chris with 3 years left on his deal, they'll probably trade him when there's a chance, even if for just a 2nd rounder.

    why do you guys keep saying we just added a recent mvp? russ should have been a distant 3rd in mvp voting that season after harden and kawhi...
    rockets better change their offensive philosophy to 7 secs or less + pick and rolling teams to death instead of launching all those goddam 3s... EG and harden are the only respectable 3pt shooters left on the team.
