capela, gordon, and 2 NG guys would be enough to make it work. we'd jump over the tax by about $7M. we'd also probably have to add a bunch of picks. but, man what a fun team to watch lol idk if it would implode, or just not work, but they would be stuck together for 4 years. CP3-rivers Rus-Green Harden-House Tucker-??? ???-???
honestly though, what's the alternative at this point? assuming you can't trade CP3 and you have about 2-3 yrs of prime harden left, what other moves can we make to stay even relatively competitive with the elite squads forming in the west? it's not like we have any cap space to just add a true impact player. trade for a klove caliber player maybe? Russ is in all likelihood a terrible fit and we will be left with next to no depth but at this point i'm willing to say fugg it and just go for broke (literally and figuratively).
How bout get involved in someone else's trade for Rus. Somehow get Steven Adams and Iggy. For capella, shumpert and fillers
Social media kings. They hand out more likes and retweets than those guys handing out strip club fliers on the Vegas Strip.
Would y’all make this trade? Rockets Receive: Westbrook Adams Thunder Receive: Gordon Capela CP3 Saw someone suggest this and was just curious. I probably would not. I’m also hearing that the Rockets could get Westbrook without giving up CP3. Though would need a 3rd team for sure in that scenario. Also was suggested that the Thunder might be open to not taking on a huge haul since they just got one from the Clippers for PG13 and the Nugget’s first rounder for Grant as well.
That’s not true. There are two/three out there that the Rockets could potentially pursue. Including Tyson Chandler, Dwight Howard, and Ekpe Udoh. Lmao Like Dwight Howard is coming here though.
secretly rus is the center. his primary focus is rebounding and he can't shoot, so that makes him a center.
I didn't think the Butler trade was gonna happen but for some strange reason I can see Morey pulling the trigger.
I think Udoh just signed a big contract overseas. Dwight...lol. Tyson Chandler has a real shot to come here I would think.
While some other teams might brag about having two top 5 players on the same team, we would have the bragging right to owning two of the top 5 worst contracts in the NBA.
