Neither did Houston in the game 3, in which they destroyed the Jazz!

    Lol.

Aspiring journalists: notice how Woj actually has reliable sources and breaks news that are fact, rather than the conjecture that Broussard gives.

we'll see then. But broussard isn't wrong, the warriors being the best shooting team ever aren't dumb. They run the offense they do for a reason. I hope he's wrong though.

Apparently Broussard didn't watch Game 3 on Friday night.

Yes everyone... the reason the Warriors are great is because they haven't abandoned the mid range jumper.

It has absolutely NOTHING to do with the fact that they have 2 of the top 5 players in the game, 3 years worth of MVP winners, including the only unanimous one ever, the reigning defensive player of the year, one of the sharpest shooting 2 guards to ever play who might be considered one of the greatest 3 point shooters ever but for his own teammate, and in all 4 players in the top 25. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with that, lol.

I'd say "I've watched the NBA for 30+ year sonny, blah, blah, blah..." but really, all any INTELLIGENT person would have needed to do would be to watch the NBA THIS YEAR to understand what is painfully obvious... which is you can have GREAT OFFENSE in MANY MANY different schemes. The ONLY universal commonality among all of them is that they (1) have really GREAT players, and (2) have an offense that plays to those players strengths.

I'd tweet that, but nobody would give a crap cause I don't have good sauces.

Who can even hit a midrange jumper at a respectable clip on this team other than Harden and CP3? CP3 takes his fair share of midrange jumpers, and Harden has been a Moreyball type player from day 1. He was all about layups, threes, and freethrows since college.

Harden and CP3 can take as many midrange shots as they want although they are obviously encouraged to shoot more threes since it’s a more efficient shot. If KD was on the Rockets, expect his three point attempt rate to go up, but it’s not like he’d be banned from taking midrange jump shots.

Solid analytics behind this post -

Youngsters - grow up to be as freakishly big and skilled as Kevin Durant and use these skills to take shots .

    It worked for Rudy Gay!

LOL cause all you kids are gonna grow up to be 6'9" and have a wingspan of 7'3"..... Dont practice the 3 to increase your chances of succeeding in games and increase your chances of a scholarship if your a little undersized. Just dont do it, dont follow the "Houston" way.

I get it. Curry has a great midrange and 3 pt shot. Kids want to emulate only the 3 and miss out developing a full set of fundamentals.

Don’t be a one dimensional shooter if you want to be successful in the NBA. Unless you’re Ray Allen.
