Strange things have been documented in the sky for thousands and thousands of years. Why try to write it off as something like a comet when that is clearly not what the painter intended? Is this proof that aliens are visiting us? No of course not, but it sure is interesting IMHO...
If one accepts the premise that these particular parts of art were documenting alien visitations, why is it that today with better technology for recording visitations, with more people around the world, with more land mass and sea coverage of people over the world, and people awake more hours of the day do we get zero data verifying visitations?
How do you know that we are not recording sightings more often - do you have some stats that say otherwise?
I do not know if there are many sightings and these are repressed or if there are zero sightings. Is that what you are suggesting - the governments the world over unite in suppressing this information? Or that my figure of zero is wrong? If zero is incorrect, let the folks at SETI know, so they don't have to work so hard on that problem since the extra terrestrial intelligence has come to earth, and can get onto more useful endeavors. If the governments of the world are uniting to suppress information - why exactly is the US government not releasing information on the propulsion drive? *If* we derived so many devices powered by electricity the alien device had to either directly create electricity or convert energy into electricity. Lord knows what kind of main powerplant the spacecraft used, unless it used something that relied on electricity Why would the US government continue to let us be beholden unto some Islamic fundamentalists in the Mid East when it had information to set us free from them? It would be in our best interest to destroy the power of OPEC so those backward countries would not have much influence. re: zero proof or not - I'm pretty sure none of the proof extant meets the standards listed belo http://www.seti-inst.edu/seti/seti_science/social/principles.html and if there was any proof, that some of the following would have followed. http://www.seti-inst.edu/seti/seti_science/social/societal_efftects.html . . . There have been frequent predictions that this announcement would be the most spectacular news story of all time. Polls suggest that the majority of Americans already believe in the existence of extraterrestrial beings. However, conditioned by the media's emphasis on UFO's, the public might expect a "message". This expectation might not be immediately fulfilled. The primary goal of Project Phoenix is to find the signal; to uncover and possibly decipher a message could require the development of additional telescope and receiving equipment. Sociological studies suggest that announcement of a signal would lead to confusion and excitement, with a desire by individuals to "know more", but little panic or hysteria. While some religious groups are expected to reject the idea that we are not alone, most would not, and some would embrace the discovery as reinforcing their own beliefs. . . .
images like that are in reference to God/angels/the holy spirit, etc. presiding over the eart and the skies, etc.. They are religious.
