    MORAY.
I often get pegged as an apologist due to the insane mob on here but the recent offseason moves have more than driven home a point the fans have known for the past 3 seasons.

Who was the last PF we signed? Tucker in 2017? Carmelo Anthony? Alessandro Gentile? Lulz.

In 2017-2018 it didn't end up hurting us, because our switchable wing depth of Tucker/Ariza/Moute was great and we were built to beat the one team we needed to.

In 2018-2019 it killed us to not be able to grab boards or have any inside presence when Capela was sick/gassed/in the fetal position.

In 2019-2020 the league has doubled down on our kryptonite. Our $95M/year backcourt was built to compete with Golden State, but how about facing Leonard/George and Lebron/AD two-at-a-time? Who are the defensive assignments? PJ Tucker and the ghost of Chuck Hayes? Clint Capela and the ghost of Dikembe Mutombo?

We have to address the front court holes in this team. It's been hurting us for a while but now, if we are serious about "run it back", we have to make a play for a quality PF, and another 3D SF, at the minimum.

Don't listen to the fans asking for Westbrook. Our roster is already loaded with carbs, it's time to get some protein in here.

If OKC and TOR are now sellers or entertaining deals, there's good players to be had there. Go after Ibaka, Noel, Morris, Grant. The Grizzlies are stacked with front court flotsam. You seem to only like being opportunistic. Now is the time to find an opportunity with the new OKC/LAC/TOR fallout.

    Kthxbye

We should at least go after Ibaka and Grant but judging by how this off-season is going, nothing will happen.

All I want for season is a power forward, a power forward, a power forward... gee if I could only have a power forward...

I remember the time we had a bunch of 4's like DoMo, TJo, Jeff Adrien and then a bunch of undersize 4's like Delfino and Garcia

Now Morey has completely switched and gone back court heavy

    Bring back DMO

The Rockets was one of the worst rebounding teams in the league this past season. Yet Morey continues to add undersize midget guards. It’s like he’s in a coma.

    Wake the f**** up.

I'm getting to the point where I actually considered Dwight for the minimum for a minute. Do something, Moray.

The recent Westbrook rumors are flying in the face of this thread... can Morey even read?

The Rockets have NO playoff rotation depth at SF, PF, C

So yeah, this is a big issue.

Have you considered the possibility of acquiring Westbrook via picks and pieces other than Paul combined with trading Paul to fill the voids at forward you very correctly have alluded to?

I'd rather have Paul than Westbrook on this team, flat out. But what Paul-for-Forwards swap do you consider feasible? Kevin Love?

And how can we match Westbrook's salary without Paul? Give up Capela, Gordon, and Tucker? (Legitimately wondering)
