Morey remade this team into an annual contender without having to go through Philly's process. Other than one disastrous year with a feeding Dwight and Harden the Rockets have been damn good. He made a few mistakes last summer but almost made up for all of that as the season progressed. If CP3 didn't injure himself last year they would have been in the Finals. If Harden got just one or two of the Klay fouls called in Game 1 this year's Warriors series would be totally different. Swinging for Jimmy Buckets was the right move too bad JB couldn't handle the challenges of staying home. It's understandable. A lot of college athletes need to get away from home because it's too easy to get into trouble. Imagine what an NBA guy with a ton of money has to go through. People round here posting like Houston is run like the Knicks but with Morey you always got a shot. Hell just take a look over at NRG stadium and see how it is when you've got a flaming pile of trash as management.

But did u factor in never tanking...think about that. Name a better gm...then I'll point u to that guy tanked in had a top five pick...that's the difference. He made the greatest trade in NBA history without tanking. He got 2 stars together without tanking. He missed on guys...that again never resulted in tanking or being awful, Miami has tank, Boston has tanked/terrible, philly, bucks being terrible for a long while. Only team that's comparable is gsw gm. That's it really to me

Imagine creating a team to compete for rings while refusing to tank whatsoever. I figured Rocket fans would b more appreciative that the team never tank and gave them their money's worth supporting the team.

I honestly believe we hasn't drafted in the lottery for quite some time, being able to continous create a contending team without lottery picks/talent.
