It's not about being afraid, it's about the fact we could use the guy for the minimum.

I think the first half of the season for GS is all about making Russell look as good as possible so they can flip him for someone who's a better fit. Maybe WCS gets Russell a few easy assists.

You can get the same or better production if they sign Boog, or Zubac or Kaminsky

next one for GS is Kelly Oubre, playing time 36 minutes a game.
They are targeting 2015 nba draft lottery picks

They renounced his rights, he wanted them to let him go and they actually did it.

Kings want him to be unrestricted FA. Kings have enough bigs, don't need him.

    On the other hand,
If I were Kings, I would match the offer, then deal him for 1 first round pick.

They had Bird rights. Could have paid him anything they wanted to.

Wcs has the exact same RPM as Capela (1.75) good for 61st in the league.

Well that's just dumb IMO they could sent him away for a pick if they didn't want him. He got a little bit over vet min pretty sure other teams like the Rox coulda used a backup C for less than 1M a year.

GS have 10 minimum salary, league pays 1.6 million for each minimum, tax free.
They don’t pay tax, makes money.

They were not then, or now under the hard cap.

Hypothetically, I agree. But, what if the Warriors bust out of the gates as a #1 or #2 seed with a substantial lead over the following teams. D'Angelo playing with the veterans and being a playmaker might improve his game.

GS might have made moves to ensure they have a better team, down the road.

The hard cap is 138.9M. They are slightly under this figure. Cannot go over for any reason. This is due to the S&T.
