Kawhi is supposed to meet teh Raptors today. Anyone knows what time? morning , afternoon? I read that he was supposed to announce to the Raptors that he's leaving, and he will make his decision public right after.
Yeah... Hopefully it happens in the morning to get done with it soon like taking off a bandage and not waste the whole day again "contemplating" his decision.

If the Morris brothers sign at the vet minimum then the NBA league office should start investigating.

Maybe I am in the minority, but I am not watching this crap if he goes to the Lakers. These guys all just want to be buddies, hang out on the beach and sing kumbaya. Give me parody and real competition over this garbage.
This, but that isn't what the league wants. There is ZERO skill involved in the Lakers resurgence either. In 12 months they will have added James, Davis and Leonard to go with Kuzma and NONE of that was because of magnificent work by the front office. Prepare for players like Green and others to filter in for close to or at the minimum and give the Lakers surprising depth. That is why there is part of me that thinks the Rockets would almost be better just starting a hard rebuild. It isn't happening for at least another year, but when you have arguably the best player in the world, it doesn't mean much when the Lakers can get 3 of the top 6-7 players in the world in 12 months.

The problems with the hard rebuild idea as I see it: 1) There's not a good chance we'll get another star like Harden. Houston isn't some glamour city. Even if we fall into via draft there's a chance it's our star leaving for LA the next time. 2) A hard rebuild will take a few years and by then it will be time for the next California dynasty to be put together. This is only going to get worse as the money outside of contracts escalates. 3) Based on 1/2 I think the Rockets are better off just trying to win what they can and live with whatever happens. I think the league is going down a path that is very dangerous for the long term health. Ultimately there will need to be some sort of major changes to how it is set up. The mid season play in tournament has the hidden agenda imo of creating something fans can care about other than winning the league. The extreme rise in money outside of contracts is making this worse and worse.

Green isn't signing anywhere for the minimum. He flat out said he wants to "maximize the dollar" this offseason.
