Well, in his case it’s hard to blame him. He’s got 2 finals mvp with 2 teams and he’s from LA. It could just be a family and lifestyle thing now.

I at least respect Kawhi because he won a championship on his own before doing this... but good lord we will never hear the end of the Lakers now if he does really end up there.
I don't think this news is true, but I agree with you. However, tons of "fans" seem thrilled, too. What's the point of intrigue and parity, right?
It’s slowly but surely leaking across Twitter that it’s a done deal. He’s going to the Lakers. I’d like to be wrong but all signs have pointed that way for a long time now. Lame move, but it’s expected at this point. League will always just have a big market superteam. Boring but true.

Yes. Was super pumped for a balanced league and it wasn't some Houston bias. I didn't think Houston would be the favorite in that scenario I just relished the idea of an open competition that was determined by who came together the best, who coached the best, who survived the season of attrition, etc. And yes, I know Toronto won the title this year, but they did it against a broken Golden State in the finals.
