    I don't like this signing. Payton really sucks. Knicks just giving money away at this point. This probably means Franky will be traded

    Knicks have been a joke since Ewing retired. Should have filled out the roster with 1 year deal guys like the Arica Suns deal last year and try again in free agency next year.

    Knicks are courting Giannis all their moves scream this, 2020 FA class sucks.

    Not sure how it adds up but I'm betting they will have space for two max contracts that offseason too.

    I think this is actually a good contract, Payton was pretty solid for NOLA last season, i just really don't get how he got less money than guys like Ellington, Lamb, that's crazy for me.

    You basically get a poor man's Rondo on a reasonable deal. The longer term deal is such a Knicks move.

    I dun watch him much but I think everyone is a better shooter than Rondo. Also he is a mini triple double threat.

    They'd be better off tanking the next few seasons. Get talented young players to pair with Barrett. Sign a max player or two, down the road.
