    If Leonard stays in Toronto...

    Rockets are gonna be in prime position.

    Lakers are all in now on him, all of the solid FA guys are off the board.

    Compare him to Patrick Beverly who just got 3 years and $40M. We don't know Rivers contract yet but at most its 2 years $11M. Beverly has better D, better 3pt %, but less dynamic offensively, shorter, four years older and an injury history. Is Beverley really $30M better than Rivers? I don't think so. Good signing in my book.

    EDIT: He's making the vet min of $2.1....this is a STEAL no matter how you look at it.

    Honestly this is the most important thing

    CP3 is gonna miss games , and if you realistically want to be on even footing with other teams in the playoffs , you have to find a way to manage your stars minutes .

    James , Eric , and CP3 carry a BIG Load .

    Getting Austin and house , we at least have twice guys MDA will play .

    I'm perpetually worried about MDA burning out James or pj or really anyone good .

    IMO this next season could be about depth . MDA has to use it .

    I can almost guarantee you his 3 point percentage will increase. He has been working on it and in the past when he worked on it, it went up quite a bit.

    Agree about depth, and we still need a lot more of it. Very happy with getting both, and like others, surprised that Rivers took less than he could get to stay with the Rockets. Morey can't be done, though. I certainly hope not.

    Wow. So Rivers took the Vet Minimum? Unreal. We still have a chunk of our MLE!
