I think this is a good place to put some things we see that are mistruth, fake, fabrications, etc. I saw two really big ones this week. I encourage people to share what they find, because this stuff is always entertaining. The first one I want to share is about Tulsi Gabbard reportedly having been given a digital pimple during the debate. It is clearly seen on her chin and then disappears. Alexander had survived after being kept by predators for food. He drank his own urine. It was a “miracle” he did not die. Several publications around the world ran the incredible story of a “Russian mummy saved by hunting dogs,” with a video of what appeared to be an emaciated Alexander, clearly looking worse for wear, in hospital. Except, as it turned out, it almost certainly wasn’t true.
I hadn't heard about the second story. I'm on vacation right now. The first story about the pimple seems like someone that likes her. I see the pimple in the before pic but not the after pic. So if they doctored it, it was to fix the pimple. Even if it was to place a pimple the joke is on them. That's a lot of effort for no real gain.
Watch the video. The pimple was digitally added but glitched. Or perhaps you are right. Maybe they fixed it, but that seems less likely in this climate. Tulsi claims it was added so i don't think she would even address it otherwise. Plus she has a professional doing her make up. I was very much surprised to see this story because it means we have entered a new era in pimple deep fakes.... what is next? Also enjoy your vacation!
I can't watch the video on the internet here at least not while at a train station, on a train or waiting for the wife to be done with her shower, which is pretty much my only time to use the internet. I'll take your word for it, though. In that case they are idiots.
Yeah and it may be they fixed it, but either way it is not really a good thing to have the news deciding how a political figure should appear to us. Seems deceptive either way. It could even be a dry run of this technology. I have to wonder if this is the first time even.
