    Isn't Portis restricted though? I guess the Wizards will match, they matched a 4 year max with player option and trade kicker for Porter...

    I also wonder if the Knicks even knew he was restricted, lol.

    Apparently they already did (serious) and Knicks declined. (This was earlier in the offseason? -- according to Kevin O'Connor anyways)
