    He will take less if push came to shove. But how amazing would it be if this deal fell through and he had to go somewhere else.

    I don't even want Butler now. I just want to see this whole deal fall apart and Butler have to go some place like Charlotte to get his max money.

    That said, you never know with the Mavs and Cuban. Remember the whole Jordan situation? Giving Parsons a whole lot of money after a Dirk paycut. Hell, blowing up their championship roster? If Mavs do blow it up, I am sure MIA can find another trade partner. Maybe Suns?

    How is that 90% of those players in the background are no longer on this team?

    And how awkward it will be next season if all of the players on the trading block aren’t moved before the start of the season.

    Morey: Hey guys, although I tried to move you and nobody would take you... uhh... you still enjoy playing for Houston right? Still want redemption in the playoffs, right? What’s that? Oh no, you’re definitely still on the trading block. I’m a “like to have my cake and eat it too” kinda guy.
