I know many people are surprised because they had high expectations for Morey and company —but he has always been overrated and too much of a talker. In this instance I think things worked out best for us. The acquisition of Butler completely ignores chemistry. He didn’t even meet with the rockets which shows how much he really would have invested in the team itself.
No. As you can see the way the Rockets are moving with the center signing and still interest that they knew Jimmy wasn't signing. I think they are going to try to move Capela still for something. EGO has been in trade rumors since he's been here so its just par for the course for him.
I think I'm in the minority on this but I say do what we did with Ryan Anderson and Asik... Trade them. Sign Kevon Looney to a cheap contract and spend the rest of the money in some smart way. Capela has been exposed in the playoffs as a non difference maker and EGO is right at that age where he's going to come out flat one season and never come back. Now is as good a time as any to retool around CP3 and Harden. Neither is going anywhere soon.
