Speaking of Trump-Obama swappers. None of these candidates inspire in a way Obama did with charisma and authenticity. Maybe Buttieg comes close but he lacks in charisma a bit and can't carry a black vote. Booker and Harris lack in authenticity. Young lacks in speaking time. Williamson lady in sanity...

How about Biden and Buttieg ticket? All white guy field to see if America is fed up with the Trump reality show after the "fun" 4 years and 2 SCOTUS judges in place. Biden would not pack the courts which is probably something GOP will use to motivate their side. Racists ("fine people") will also not be motivated to come out. Women (even conservative ones) should be motivated to just get rid of Trump. Buttieg will carry the Burners and other activists. Military would be in too. Could be the winning ticket assuming Biden doesn't **** up and show his age more than Trump (73 vs 76).

I responded to you previously, but since you haven't responded yet, here's another one for you:

Your Drudge/Breitbart error, in addition to being wrong, is an example of an ad hominem attack. . . . [See other thread.] The premise of your argument is that Drudge or Breitbart cannot possibly say anything true. I don't really care about those websites or their credibility; I'm showing you one reason you have got things wrong in this thread.

You thought you were right about me "obviously consuming" Breitbart, and you were wrong.
You thought you knew who dachuda voted for, and he reports that you were wrong.
Your thinking seems to be leading you to wrong conclusions. . . . Think about it?

Now please tell me if I'm wrong: you want a candidate who is more adversarial toward Assad and Putin than Tulsi Gabbard is.

I’ll respond when I get around to it. Chill. I have a life.

Also I love how you and Dasch are acting so offended about voting for Trump and reading Drudge. You both responded that way only because you know there’s no way for me to prove it so you can claim to be all offended because heaven forbid someone would think I’m a Trump voter when I post in his defense 24/7 and spend every waking day fighting the libs on the Internet.... except for Tulsi Gabbard who just so happens to get random glowing coverage on a hard right platform.

And no I don’t want a war hawk like Lindsay Graham or John Bolton who never saw a war they didn’t love. That’s stupid to think based on my post history. You are creating a false choice though that just because you oppose regime change wars that you have to be all about having dinner with Assad who uses chemical weapons on his own citizens. I’m allowed to be anti normalized relations with Assad, and Putin and also anti war.

Just stop. Let your post history speak for itself and stop the outrage when heaven forbid someone makes a highly likely assumption. If you don’t traffic Drudge and Brietbart great, but I’m not an idiot to know where the talking points originate.

I wrote, before you ever addressed me, on the previous page, that I voted for Hillary. If you want to claim I'm lying, for the sake of other readers, OK. But you obviously can't convince me I voted for Trump.

You're one of these posters who does not care what the truth is. You think that Democratic voters, as well as Republican voters, automatically have predetermined ideology. Because you yourself do.

Re that "false choice" crap you wrote: I challenge you to find me one post where I ever mentioned Graham and Bolton.

    You are a liar, sir.

Cory Booker is far and away the best candidate. Poised, vastly intelligent, eloquent, vivacious, history of amazing public service and dedication, etc. I think he’s super-human.

Gun to my head, I think the most likely ticket is Biden-Harris.

    Who is your favorite candidate?

Who do you think has the best chance to beat Trump?

Those are the two fundamental questions at play because they may not be the same answers.

People keep saying how clinton was a terrible candidate. She had almost 3 million more votes than Trump. If she she had been a little smarter about using facebook or at least have hired putins guys, I think she wins.

I think the most important thing is healthcare so I am all for Bernie.

I think he is going to tank the economy, but I think if we get healthcare its going to be worth it. Once we get it republicans will not be able to roll it back. We are pretty much the only 1st work country not to have universal healthcare. Obamacare was a terrible compromise. I guess it got us preexisting conditions, but other than that it is pretty bad.

Notice how someone who is apparently anti-Trump--dobro1229--is so politically programmed that he takes the truth for a lie. He thinks I am some kind of Trump secret agent, lying to people that I voted for Clinton, so I can carry out evil plans on a message board or lord knows what. This is how mentally f'ed some Americans have become in our political climate.

Dobro1229 got confused because he doesn't see the difference between a "liberal" and a true liberal.

A true liberal distrusts the CIA.
A "liberal" wants to trust the CIA more.

A true liberal wants to avoid war.
A "liberal" wants aggressive stances toward Syria, Russia, Iran, add your personal faves. . . .

A true liberal is . . . liberal in considering political candidates of any stripe.
A "liberal" is lined up staunchly on the blue team, and is aggressively illiberal toward members of the red team and other non-blue people.

It's to the freaking point in America that I have to explain that loving the CIA is not a liberal position! Being pro-CIA is now "liberal." (It's also "conservative," but whatever.)

"Liberal" people like dobro1229 are so mentally f'ed that they sometimes cannot accept facts. And they are vehement in their errors! For the record, I have voted for B. Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Obama, and H. Clinton. On Gore election night, I spent the night with a bottle of wine, writing angry emails to Ralph Nader for handing the election to Bush. Dobro1229 is unable to believe this; he thinks I am a secret agent for Trump. How paranoid, and how wrong about reality. Don't be dobro1229.

True liberals are also anti authoritarian. Fake liberals love antifa.

Fake liberals also love big tech censorship and don't question corproate power while true liberals understand the danger.

Everyone needs to stop referring to present day Democrat leftists as "Liberals". They could more accurately be described as "Anti-liberals," as the root word for the word liberal is "Liberty".

They also are not "Progressive" for exactly the same reason. The root word of progressive is "Progress". If given their way unimpeded, they will cast aside both our Constitution and our democracy. If there is voting, nobody that they disagree with who has any capacity to compete with them would be allowed to speak or run against them. They are authoritarians. They are ultimately totalitarians. We have seen all of this before, going back thousands of years in fact. So the term "Regressives" would certainly be much more accurately descriptive than their preferred label of "Progressives".

Leftists is what they should more properly be called.
