Why would they send us Brown for them helping us out by taking Clint of our hands? We would be lucky to get a pick

Clearly because we'd be sending Chiozza their way too.

The Clint hate is strong on this board. I realize Brown has shown a lot of promise but Capela should have some pretty good value around the league. I can easily see someone offering a 1st round pick for him. Also, if we somehow are able to get Jimmy via an opt in and trade like many of us are praying for, can we begin to negotiate an extension for him immediately or would we have to wait until the end of the season like we did with CP3? I assume we will have to wait but thought I would ask if anyone knows?

    You know what?

    I’m all in.

3 starters for a star? Done deal.

A HOF court general, an all-time scorer and a 94 ft. Hardass Competitor. Give me a MLE and a row of young guys and vets ring chasing, let’s fkn go.

At some point they have to commit to sum of their players instead of letting them walk or trade them for unequal value. With that said: I assume they would want to keep some of their young core and get rid of I forgot his name the Utah dude they signed , man I forgot his name.

Boston +6 wins adding Chiozza. Houston -3 wins losing Chiozza. Why would Houston do such a dumb trade?

I think we'd lose our MLE and ability to sign ring chasing vets.

This is silly. The celtics are not giving up jaylen brown and a pick for capella. If jimmy opts in or it's a sign and trade, Capella would be going to a team with cap room for a first round pick. Phili would get Gordan, a first from us and the capella pick, plus a few of our deep bench guys. If jimmy goes the full FA rout without forcing a sign and trade we are out and looking for someone else. This is it plain and simple.

    I.D.I.O.T.

If we don't get Jaylen Brown + more I'm going to riot.

you're not bad, you're just wrong. If we don't get a young stud back in return this will haunt us. Ainge doesn't blatantly lose trades. Enjoy watching Clint flourish and becoming an all star in the East.

As long as we win a championship with all the deals we're about to make, I don't have a problem rooting for Capela flourishing after we trade him.

It'll suck if he flourishes and we don't win a chip.

he's a very useful player in the right matchup, probably in most matchups. but i don't think he can ever be an all-star because of his lack of offensive skills (can't make a shot past 4ft and can't make FTs), inability to box out on rebounds, and overall weak mentality

He will be dribbling more next year and he will be shooting longer shots. He's been relegated to PNR guy here and he's about to make us all very sad when we are hard-capped with a team that has a one year championship window. I've always been pro star hunting. I have a really bad feeling about adding Butler in a SNT. I hope I'm wrong. I hope more that he opts in.
