    This is a long way from over.

    Teams are making moves and adjustments.

    There will be a number of teams that at the end of the day will be in a position to offer a maximum contract to Jimmy Butler.

    It was inevitable that Davis would waive his trade kicker IF the Lakers were in a position to add a maximum free agent.

    The Lakers have AD and LBJ....... The Clippers could potentially team Kawhi Leonard with another star player........ the Nets and Knicks both will be in play.........

    Lakers going after Kawhi, but you got to bet they will be running after him if they strike out. IMO sixers still most likely, but clippers/Lakers are now very possible threats, I think Clipps will have most of their eggs in the Butler basket but the competition for him has increased drastically.

    People really seem to hate Morey's humor. It's more reassuring to me. Nobody is joking when things are going badly. I assume Morey wouldn't be joking if he is in the weeds. As long as Morey is quipping, memeing, and dad joking on the internet, the calmer I am.

    Butler has lived in LA and loves the area and in the past has loved the attention of LA and hanging out with famous people.

    I can tell you that the Bulls were convinced he would opt out and sign with the Lakers a few years ago.
