Do you think Knicks will consider SF for Marbury trade? As much as I don't like Marbury's attitude, I think he is a better fit for Rox. And I think SF will be happy to go to Knicks, after all it is Madison garden in NYC.
I'm just saying that there isn't the perfect match for Yao out there that I know of. There are guys that will shoot less or turn it over, but that's because they don't have the talent to score. We DO need another scorer besides Yao, so the question becomes who would be ideal? I would say a low turnover, high assist guy that plays really good defense and provides an outside shot. Bibby is probably closest and Nash provides everything but the defense. Steve does provide another scorer, a guy who can make an outside shot (this year being the exception), he gives us another excellent rebounder (Yao still isn't great and Mo is severely lacking), and I would say he's not penetrating enough this year.
Isn't it quite a paradox? Everyone agrees that Steve is an 'uptempo' type player, but he can't run a fastbreak worth a damn. It seems that the only thing he really does well 'uptempo' is dribble the ball and cross people over(and over and over without purpose), which doesn't help his teammates much. Thats our point guard...
Yeah, that's what was so hard to explain about 2 or 3 years ago... He's quick and can jump. Plus he can do spectacular dunks. Add that all up and you get a "up-tempo" type guard. But, it doesn't mean passing, nor, fast-break, nor shooting, nor, efficiency. He dribbles for the sake of dribbling. In fact, I've seen him cross-over defender, then cross-over right back into coverage. Francis crossed himself over!
marbury is a better point guard than steve though. baron davis is probably better as well? TRADE ACCEPTED There were BYC players involved in this trade, so this trade is subject to the BYC provisions of the CBA. Due to Houston and Chicago being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Houston and Chicago had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out unless trade exceptions were used for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You have been assigned Trade ID number 1536321 lol
Exactly David, it drives me nuts to see him beat a guy on the crossover then get back in front of him again just so he can complete his little 'crossover show'. Its like WTF?!? What the hell did he do that for?!? It just makes him look like a showoff while being really ineffective at the same time. And this is the guy thats suppose to lead our team.
