    This is truth

Broussard blabbers about Jimmy not fitting in, but if he was going to the Lakers not a peep.

The Lakers players hated LeBron last season. Broussard is a pilot fish sucking on to LeBron’s backside.

    Flunkie stooge.

Butler wanted Philly to run more pick and roll. MDA historically has been one of the most PnR heavy coaches in NBA history, just not last year. It's a match made in heaven.

people act like Harden will continue to have 40% usage and ISO every other possession if we got another legit playmaker in Butler...lmao

Harden played the way he did because he had to in order for us to make the playoffs due to injuries and the decline of CP0...

people also act like Jimmy Butler is accustomed to 30+% usage and 20 shots a game...smh, Jimmy Butler’s career high in shot attempts is only 16.5 a game, and that was while playing 37 minutes a night...he usually takes about 14-16 shots a game

his career high in usage rate is also only 26.5%

I’m sorry, but Butler can’t get 25% usage and 14-15 shots a game in HOU? With Harden’s usage obviously coming down and CP0 continuing to have a smaller role as he continues to age and decline? U think all Butler will do is get to spot up? Please, just because we have our limited role players doing that doesn’t mean a 2-way star like Butler will be doing the same. Also, LOL at posting the opinion of someone like Broussard, Sharpe, Skip, SAS, Kellerman, etc and thinking that anyone should take it seriously.

I hope Jimmy likes playing the Ariza role of camping out in the corner waiting to shoot 3s.

Really wish we had a Broussard block button.

This. Butler will be the #2 and get plenty of looks. Paul takes a hit offensively, but morphs into more of a first unit stabilizer and change-of-pace second unit leader.

It also gives us the ability to experiment with Paul/Butler lineups while Harden sits. Either way, Butler’s number is still getting called.

Yes. But any adversity the team faces (and adversity is almost inevitable in a long NBA season) will result in these people gloating about how right they were, which will be annoying as hell.

I disagree with most of what Broussard said, but he is right about one thing. Run it back. Stop overreacting. Capela and EG is too big a price to pay for Jimmy Butler. And absolutely forget about it if Tucker has to be sacrificed.

He's not wrong when he references previous champions who had one team as a stumbling block(i.e. the Bulls with the Pistons). Once they got over that hump, they won titles. And the Rockets don't even have to worry about beating the Warriors next season because injuries and attrition have taken them out already. Sure there's the threat of other contenders rising to take their place(Nuggets, Jazz, Lakers, Clippers), but are we really gonna gut this team as some sort of precautionary measure or trust that the Rockets' current lineup which has dominated all four of those ballclubs when healthy in recent years can do the same next year?

    I vote for the latter.

I’m assuming nobody has watched jimmy butler?. In Chicago butler was just a strong role player.

Jimmy butler can play off the ball like nobody’s business. Go look at his highlights half of them are him cutting and getting a pass.

How did golden state make five all stars work?.

People are overthinking this because if this is the logic then who the hell else fits?.

Rockets will make it work, and little tidbit harden is actually looking for somebody to take more load off of him. It may not seem that way but with Chris Paul slipping a bit last year he had no choice but to carry the team. He’s not the ball hog people might seem to believe, he’s more then on board about getting less touches

That's the thing people mistaken. Of course that shot will be there, but the difference between putting the ball in Butler's hands in that position over Ariza's, is simply the ability to put the ball on the floor and create for himself. If the close out is a hard one the defense is scrambling to recover and we're bound to get a dump off in the paint to our bigs or a drive to the lane with one of the best finishers in the game today attacking aggressively.

As much as I loved what Ariza brought to the table, he was never much of a ball handler, which limited his effectiveness once that corner 3 shot was taken away from him. Jimmy Butler will not have that same problem here.

Eric Gordon had more touches in Houston than Butler did in Philly this is non sense.. Also it was reported it will be more ball movement this year..

Three different sources saying the same thing, yet Clutchfans refuse to listen.
I want Butler here. I just don't want to see him slap Harden up side the head.
