Will the Rockets be going to Summer League?

MDA will be skyping in before the game and then at halftime. During the actual game a robot will do the coaching and make decisions on playing time and use of timeouts.

 

I like how some of you talk about Summer league and don't watch it

 

Everyone is assuming Isaiah Hartestein plays, are the Rockets really going to demean the G-League FInals MVP like that?

 

I bet the real concern is not who we're going to trot out in the SL but who's going to coach them.

 

I bet right now it is Matt Brase (former Vipers coach). Basically a Vipers squad.

worse case scenario I'll coach them Mike D'Antoni style.

Aka, don't call timeouts, don't sub the bench, and don't make adjustments.

 

Brase would be a good addition to MDA's coaching team.

But really need a good D coach.

 

Undersized (6'5 190) but 7 foot-ish wingspan and 45% from 3.

He just joined the 76'ers staff.

 

All we got left is John Lucas III. I wouldn’t mind CP3 coaching the summer league it would be super dope

All we need is Hartenstein. He would go one on five and do it with great enthusiasm. Finals MVP has huge upside.

 

Matt is a NBA D-League Western Conference World Champion. The kids are in good hands.

 

This kid is really underrated. He was one of the best shooters in the country from long range before having some problems and taking an extended leave from KU. He’s the type of player that could fit well with MDA’s system since he’s a great shooter.
