lol at people who think butler is coming here.
I mean I will GLADLY eat crow if he does but ...that's not going to happen.

3 notable acquisitions other than Jeremy Lin in the past decade.

Windhorst ends by saying that he thinks the Butler rumor is just one of those Daryl Morey things where he tries to make a deal and it doesn't work out. All three believe the Rockets could win the west. McMahon says Fertitta talks too much and speculates they might be willing to trade Capela because they think they could get DeAndre Jordan.

I mentioned it in another thread. He definitely wants to come here, it’s #1 on his list but money could play a factor whether he does or does not. Harden and Butler are talking daily.

As I said from the beginning people should expect Butler to be a rocket. The mutual instrest is too strong from both sides. If it doesn’t work out it’s purely based on financial reasons

He’s heading to Brazil. 8 days left to opt in and trade. I really really don’t see it happening this way and I don’t think clearing enough cap is worth it.

it's happening!!! (not sure what number Butler would choose here with Calvin already worn 23, but I just picked it since that was his number in Minny/Phil, maybe back to 21 from his days with the Bulls)

We have as much chance as Curry hitting a clutch shot.

from my own point of view... if you watched his insta videos when he went back to tomball to see fam and old friends, you could tell brody was happy AF. i bet you anything he's got the "playing in front of home town crowd" going crazy in his head right now. like gerald green. just saying, he might feel hungry to come home.

why would these reports keep coming out if there wasnt a possibility? theres obviously a mathematical/strategic way to get him here. morey, the master of trades/math, wouldnt be pursuing a FA if he knew he couldnt afford him....

Because we are literally interested in every star player who is a FA during the off season every year. I'll stuck to our insiders here they are more right than the national media.

Fatty hearing rumbling for Jimmy Dean's when he's in Houston.

Better options but he can't discriminate

    Morey, "at least we tried."

In other news, Rockets sign more G League players.
