    The "conservative" sounds like a conservative because he wants to bar tech companies from censoring unpopular speech. So Facebook can't kick out guys like Milo Yiannopoulos. The government regulation doesn't sound too conservative, but protecting unpopular speech definitely does.

    Are we talking about whether this idea is a good idea or whether it is a conservative idea? I think the idea is bad, but it definitely sounds like something a conservative would come up with. It's pretty in line with the idea of withholding federal grants from universities if they don't let Milo come and rouse some rabble on their campuses.

    Conservatives always cry about free speech yet it's their politicians that actually try to limit free speech with legislation.

    This plus not too long ago when a few of them were trying to criminalize protests...you know...the very thing the 1st amendment protects.
