    Some fishbait for you before things start really heating up:

    The Rockets could move into the draft, if there's a chance there's value to be had

    Look for the Rockets to aggressively discuss potential deals and maybe even pull the trigger...if the price is right.

    Ownership is willing to pay into the Tax, if it moves the needle.

    Outplaying the contracts is going to be key this year.

    Look for a move towards value or flexibility with an eye towards future value.

    I'm hearing they feel like they're right there in it, even if nothing happens

    Will let you guys know if I get any more

    Ugh. "value guys," "outplaying contracts," etc. I am tired of the "we need the best team on April 15th trope and for once would love to see an attitude of 'we want the best team going into the season' and not rely so heavily on buyouts, trade deadline giveaways, etc.
