I just saw a cool trailer full of eye candy but the movie is in Japanese.

From the looks of it, it seems to be about robots taking over the world (Always a good story to base a movie on :p ), but I was hoping for something a bit more specific.

A friend showed me that couple days ago, looks like a live action anime, really over the top.

I hate to break this to you, but robots took over the world years ago.

Now please go stand next to the stairs.

    Cool link. Thanks.

After reading the brief intro synopsis on the homepage and seeing the trailer, it looks like the story is about a war torn world (parallel to our own). Apparently, there was a large world war between two large factions. One faction won and started to occupy "Eurasia" but they only found that land to be in complete ruin and decay. In order to rescue mankind, a scientist (the old man speaking at a conference at the beginning of the clip) talks about his work to make a "new cell/tissue (new organism)" - maybe something akin to cloning. Apparently, he has developed a way to make an entirely different human being or something to that effect (see all those big tissue baths in the clip). His main reason for doing so is to save his wife (the middle age-elderly woman who is shown in the garden like place) from a devastating disease. Of course there is a whole another group (army?) trying to use it for their own good (led by the younger looking guy who has a devilish looking grin). They seem to have succeeded in creating a new human being (the guy who looks like he is badly frostburned) and instead of trying to help humanity, he leads a revolution of robots? or whatever against them, but someone also has come to try to stop him (the one who has a sword). It sounds like it has some promise as a SF movie in the typical Japanese vein. Just a first quick pass through the trailer and the intro synopsis on the webpage. I might have missed a thing or two there and there seems to be a lot of sotrylines running in the movie.

I've lost faith in Japanese action movies after seeing battle royale 2 and princess blade. I still like the dramas, comedies, and anime, but the Japanese just can't do action right.
