    if they have the opportunity to get off that albatross deal somehow, then they must take it

    CP0 will only be getting worse from here, and Lord help us if his injury prone ass suffers something serious...dude is a ticking time bomb

    As GM, Morey is forced to say one thing while thinking another.

    If he said, "We're doing everything we can to dump Chris Paul," it would make for an awkward season if he can't pull it off. I mean, it would already be awkward enough because of all the rumors and things his agent hears, but that would just add another big layer on top of it.

    Paul / Olipedo could back court could make some noise in the east. Also Miles Turner would hit a new level playing with Harden.

    From the MacMahon article this morning:

    Morey has aggressively shopped the Rockets under contract, including Paul and center Clint Capela, in the trade market.

    Fertitta has grumbled about Paul's contract, expressing regrets to Rockets staffers and even in front of rival executives, according to league sources.
