It's not over yet. We still have a chance albeit a slim one but still a chance nonetheless. :)

I'm just really loving Mobley and Francis right now.

I especially am loving how when we were blowing out the Mavs in the first quarter and Francis was on the bench with a towel wrapped around his head, standing up, whooping and hollering over there. when i saw that, I knew dallas was coming back.

and damn mobley, his jacked up shots aren't the whole story, dallas was loving that mindset, and they came back down the floor and had a few fast breaks because of his jacks.

and the refs and what they allowed najera to get away with...its not even worth talking about. its a joke. this league is a joke. the refs are prejudiced, subconciously, maybe its embedded in our subconcious where we instinctually don't give a man who is percieved a giant, fair judgement.

:D Ha ha!!! Yep. I wonder about that too. They end up meeting the Spurs' (defense) and maybe the versatility of the Wolves, and the power of (Shaq) and still loose get knocked out of the 1st round.

That's the deceptive part about not playing very good defense. The Kings too. But they have other problems.

In all due fairness... Dallas couldn't hit the ocean from the sand in the 1st quarter.

While we played good defense, they had several good shots that just didn't go in.

They started going in as the game went on.

You could also say that our best defense was making OUR shots, because it forced Dallas to bring the ball up court with our defense set.

When the ball doesn't go in... whether it is because of a "zone", bad passing, or bad decisions... you lose.

Mobley is an idiot. Make 5 out of 18 and keep shooting.

And i don't like coaches being stingy in terms of monitoring fouls. If a player like Yao get 3 fouls or 4, then he will sit no matter what. Can he just at least RISK one freaking game and make a gamble and trusted him since the Rockets are behing and in need of Yao to be part of the offense?? Why are coaches approach the foul problem all the same. It's not like Yao will be fouled out. Would you rather sit him and risk losing the game (which is very likely) or play him and try to make a comeback and risk fouling out?? Sometimes he plays the whole quarter without a single foul, so coach should understand that and take that approach. Take some risk cuz like they said, no risk no gain!!

We were NOT playing half-court ball. That's why we are losing. Fastbreak doesn't mean quick shots. Long quick shots create long rebound, which gives chances for opponent's fast break. Half-court means controlled inside-out, even if you miss the shot, you can still stop Mavs run, for you are in front of them. If we lose tonight, which looks like it, just because we are NOT playing half-court game. Inside and out, how difficult would that be? Double or front Yao, you will have a 4 against 3 situation, swing the ball, and you will have open man. Be patient, you will have your shots and you can hit them. Sigh.

The Yao-Piatkowski combination! They have scored the last 9 Rockets points. ;)

right on the money.....it was because the rockets were making every thing and the ball movement was great and the mav's couldn't hit any thing and turned the ball over unforced.....i really thought francis killed the fludity with a couple of those one on one no one else touches the ball plays....

Wow... Najera can even flop when he's going for a layup (instead of making the layup, he's concentrating more on flopping).

    That's a pro.

Rockets are a team cannot score, assist or rebound. Why Ming is out there without ball when he could not rebound and defend?

Guess what? Mike Bibby at point guard today would have annihiliated this garbage zone defense the Mavs put up. Steve Francis is the only max contract point guard in the West, but he consistently gets outplayed by guys who make much less than he does. I'm talking about guys like Bibby and Nash.

Nick, what do you think about our team shooting? Collectively.

Aside from bad assist on our team, we are not very good in team shooting either.
Cato just makes our starting 5 that much worse. Add SF and a streaky 3 spot...we have problems.

We miss a "Bullard" at our 3 spot.

What strange is that Cat, JJ and Boki shoot decent at 3. But none of them know how to get in position for the shot in the first place. A byproduct of bad team passing.

Who the hell Mobley think he is..taking 20 shots in this game...more than twice of Francis and Yao. If the shots selection ain't distribute evenly among the 3, they're not going to win games. Especially when Yao don't get enough shots.

This lost is a combination of bad timing substitution and bad coaching. If Yao can't get enough shots in this game, that's bad coaching to me. Of course it didn't help to have bad PG like Francis who keeps turning the ball over and can't buy a basket.

We all would like to steal a W, but we are losing to a better team.

The only sad part is that I see no hope for this team to ever beat this Dallas team in a seven game series.

Need to make the team better by "CHANGE", no hope by improving the current players.
