If Morey can try not making dumbass decisions the Rockets might have a 1 year window to make the NBA finals next year. Klay out, KD out.

Correct me if I’m wrong, I thought torn ACL takes about 6-9 months to recover. If that’s the case, he should be back by the all star break.

Assuming some star doesn’t surprisingly choose gs, Now the world is going to see curry by himself without kd/klay. All the talk of would he be able to carry a team to the playoffs will be answered

Might as well keep the team intact. Capela isn't as useless against teams outside of GSW

Curry isn't durable at all, there's no way his body can handle that kind of work load for a whole season

Let free agency complete and then judge

Run it back. Get some defensive specialists to assist D'Antoni, resign or replace Rivers, House, and Faried, sign a backup center and give if one more shot.

It would be insane to blow up this roster now.

Depends on what else happens in the West. (Like what happens with AD and the Lakers).

And like people have already said Klay should still be back before the playoffs.

Still need to trade CP3 and replace Capela. Green destroyed Capela and would do it again. Even their bench outplayed us most of the series. I could easily see that guard Cook getting more minutes while Thompson is out. He looked pretty darn good spot minutes. Oh, and even if the Rockets got past GS I don’t see them getting past Portland who played without their starting center, not to mention you’d have to beat Toronto.

Portland is toast. They've got a ton of free agents. Kanter ain't returning for the minimum. And Nurkic is out for most of not the entire year.

It's a trap and I think FO will half arse it anyway.

We will see more teams with 2 Superstars though.

I dont think that GSW will be out of the picture for only one year. It very well could be over for them for good.

But next season it can be Lebron + AD + good roleplayer
Or Kawhi , Butler with the Clippers
Also Denver one year more experienced.

He only has to carry them in the regular season, it all depends on his ankles.

It is going to be interesting enough what the Bucks and Celtics do this summer. And Philly.

All very good teams but with major question marks and money to give.

AD and a major free agent will probably go to the Lakers.

You are making assumptions we are going to be a healthy team with Mike DAntoni playing our starters 80 minutes a game
