“Cal that Gaine fella has his own idea on building a roster. He don’t have our values of team work and he isn’t getting better every day. We need to think like the Patriots. Let’s fire him and I’ll take over.” - BOB

No they are not...Joe Douglas and Nick Caserio are the very good options.

FWIW the NFL is full of assholes.

There are few that are a bigger ******* than O’Brien.

One of those select few that is a bigger ******* than O’Brien is Pioli.

OBrien is part of the process in firing the GM and he will be part of the process in hiring the next one.

    OBrien isn't in trouble.

I believe Douglas is going to NYJ.

Maybe Caserio but he is very much unknown.

I know but I am humoring the Texan fans that really want to believe.

You and I both know all this did was increase BOB’s power.

You mean the top candidates don’t just want to rubber stamp BOB’s moves and be completely at the mercy of BOB’s moods? I find that hard to believe, seems like a premium job

    Hey #Jets fans

Below is the 2019 General Manager Candidate research results from December

This study analyzes candidates who have been interviewed or on published lists.

Since this was published 1 name needs to be added: #Bears Asst DPP Champ Kellyhttps://t.co/oyTBaPm9Sr

Texans EVP of team development Jack Easterby has quickly become an important figure in the organization, as a confidant of Bill O’Brien’s. He won’t be the GM. But my sense is he’ll have influence on who is.

Should also note that he was at the Patriots’ ring ceremony last night.

One name to watch for the #Texans GM opening: #Patriots de facto GM Nick Caserio. Houston put in for him last time and is expected to do so again, per me and @TomPelissero. We’ll see if the Texans get permission.

Jack Easterby? The reverend? He has a say in who the new GM will be? The character coach?

This organization continues to show how dysfunctional they are. Wow just like that we fire the GM who hasn't been 2 years. And from what I heard Cal was piss at old buddy because he wasn't doing what he was told to do. Wow unheard of
