    4chuckie,

I'm not so sure CWebb is better than Francis. First off, it is very hard to compare PF to PG and come up with an objective conclusion as to who is better. Early in the season, CWebb was playing All-World level hoops, and even if he came here and did that, I'm not sure it would be his team. Franchise is the Franchise. I'm not certain, but for now I think this is Stevie's team even if CWebb came.

As for my pitch: much bigger window of opportunity, possibly 10yrs to win a championship. I think only the Magic have a comparable amount of young amazing talent like the rocks. The Knicks and Kings are good, but not good enough to win it all in the next few years as long as LA and SA are peaking. Also, CWebb said he spoke to Shaq, who by the way lives here for a lot of the year, so that might've helped.

So I think it's gonna come down to Orlando and Houston, but the Rocks have the salary space leverage, and maybe more to offer in a sign and trade. I'm hoping Cato+KT+Wiz+2 #1's this year+1 #1 and 1 #2 next year for CWebb. That would leave money to resign Dream and Mo and maybe even go after Marc Jackson.

I am very much against overhyping players, but Francis is flat out awsome. As the PG and floor leader, this is his team.

    I will.

And for obvious reasons:He is tall, athletic, strong, and has long arms.

If he wasn't so damn lazy and injury-prone, he could be better than Theo Ratliff

    My pitch to Webber:

Make sure he sits down to dinner at Mama Mobley's house. Meets the family. And the extended family. That article a month or two back in Sports Illustrated was designed to show Webber the family atmosphere of our team (and hopefully the SI curse won't kick in!)

Let him see that Houston is far and away not just a town of rednecks and sh!tkickers but has a myriad of cultures and flavors.

    Great nightlife. And daylife.

Let him know that he doesn't have to stick around and melt in the Houston heat in August.

    Steve and Cat. Nuff said.

Rudy T, Michigan boy. Player's coach. Nuff said.

Young team but growing up fast. Many years together. NY? Old and fading and cap-crippled.

Oh, yeah: a sh!tload of money.

For the first time in his life, he wouldn't be the best player on the team. How can you turn that down.

Colby C-Webb would be the best player on this team. Francis may have more potential, according to some, but keep in mind at the beginning of the season many folks said Cato was potentially a top 10 center.
No way Francis is a better player than C-webb.

OH BOY, who will admit to this NOW! [IMG]

My pitch would be the usual, young team with potential, nice nucleus, (hopefully) a lot of QUALITY talent added through the draft, progressive, diverse community, etc.

Great summer games (Westside Tennis Club)

    No state income tax

All the soul food he can get as well as any other type of food he wants.

    Destiny's Child lives here.

Houston has a good local rap scene. (He's into music.)
