Does it not seem like daylight out there? The clouds are a bright white, and look at the stars above the clouds... is it just me, or are the stars actually moving?

There are some fast moving low level clouds blanketing the sky tonight, a nicew pink hue as well, very beautiful and fun to watch.

    "Do you realize
That you have the most beautiful face?
    Do you realize
    We're floating in space?
    Do you realize
    That happiness makes you cry?

    Do you realize
That everyone you know someday will die?
And instead of saying all of your good-byes
Let them know you realize that life goes fast
It's hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun doesn't go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

    Do you realize?"

I can't believe they turned the Flaming Lips into a car commercial. I love that song by the way. They did the same thing with Modest Mouse stupid car company people.

Well, the Flaming Lips had already let Intel use that same song in a commercial that Wayne Coyne even appeared in, so don't be so surprised.

And if you haven't noticed, Nissan is using all kinds of hip music in their ads: Modest Mouse, Beulah, Morphine. The funny thing is, that Beulah song is called "A Good Man is Easy to Kill" and is about the songwriter's father being in a near-fatal car accident.

The day's of being indignant about your favorite bands' music being used in advertising are over. It's just too common a practice to get bent out of shape over anymore.

Good for them (taking this thread more off-topic). If they're not making their money off of record sales, why not let your music be used to advertise stuff. Call them a sell-out or whatever, they're making money and hopefully still making good music.
